Project: Maintenance and restoration work of reinforced concrete at the Marble Art Museum in Tinos.
Owner / Employer: Cultural Foundation / Piraeus Bank Group
Location: Tinos – N. Cyclades – Greece
Research / Study Period: 2013
Scope of Work: Investigation of pathologies such as concrete cracking and corrosion of the steel reinforcement in structural elements of reinforced concrete, which exhibited significant signs of damage and degradation of load-bearing capacity.
Detailed Description: Diagnostic research involving field tests to determine mechanical, chemical, and mainly electrochemical parameters related to the corrosion phenomena of the steel reinforcement.
