Scope of Work: Diagnostic inspection of the reinforced concrete swimming pool basin.
Detailed Description: Comprehensive investigation program including field tests (such as mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical tests for the corrosion of steel reinforcement), as well as technical analyses for assessing the strength and load-bearing capacity. Specifically, for foundation investigation, non-destructive methods were used, including ultrasonic pulse velocity testing, unidirectional approach to estimate foundation thickness, and geophysical methods like electromagnetic tomography – Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) to map reinforcement bars.
