Scope of Work: Diagnostic inspection of buildings constructed with reinforced concrete and load-bearing masonry.
Detailed Description: Comprehensive investigation program including field tests (such as recordings, mechanical, chemical, and electrochemical tests for corrosion of the steel reinforcement), as well as technical analyses to assess the strength and load-bearing capacity of the reinforced concrete. Additional exploratory work was conducted to assess the masonry, including the strength of the stones and mortars as well as the quality of construction.
